So, instead of "killing" email, we've always stuck to a more productive idea – making it more user-friendly and efficient so that info doesn't get lost and you stay on top of your projects easily. Today we're happy to introduce the new email notifications as another important step in this direction. Redesigned and upgraded, they bring the best of Wrike's collaborative and interactive Activity Stream into your inbox. Less clutter - more info! More updates in fewer emails The Activity Stream helps you easily glance at all the recent updates in a neat, chronological way. We’ve brought this same idea into the new email notifications as you can now check everyone’s contributions to a task in a single email! All of the team updates made in the last five minutes are now gathered together – comments, attachments, and changes in the task description. The five-minute timespan was chosen because it provides a good balance between timely alerts and number of email notifications. Save time reading the updates With the new email notifications, we help you focus on updates that you most likely haven’t read yet. Thanks to the implementation of read tracking, Wrike now highlights in yellow the updates that you haven’t seen yet either in your workspace or in a previous email notification. So, if you’ve already seen a comment in Wrike, it won’t be highlighted in the following email notification. Read tracking happens in your workspace automatically upon opening a task. In emails, you’ll need to enable images, so that Wrike knows you’ve seen the updates. If you haven’t followed Wrike notifications for a while, you can get a summary of all unread changes in the latest email. This is particularly convenient for those who are using conversation view in their inbox, when messages with the same subject are grouped together. Don’t miss a single word changed Now, if any member of your team updates a single line in Wrike’s Live Editor, you’ll receive only the paragraph with the highlighted changes rather than the entire description. This is particularly useful if the description is quite lengthy, so there is no need to play “Where’s Waldo?”. Also, each contributor has his own color, so you can easily distinguish each person’s edits. And what’s more… new notifications are just pretty! :) Besides all these significant usability improvements, the new design simply looks beautiful on your desktop, as well as on your mobile: it's clean, compact and visually pleasing to the eye. We hope you’ll enjoy their look and feel, too :) === Have you already checked your inbox? The new cool updates are already there. Give them a try today! If your immediate notifications are turned off, you can easily turn them on and set their time and frequency in “My Profile”.
