Wrike Doubles Down on Marketing Departments Adding Digital Asset Management to Vertical Solution via New Partnerships with MediaValet and Bynder
New Wrike for Marketers Empowers Teams to do Transformative Work with Expanded Collaboration Capabilities and Improved User Experience
Wrike Collaborate Conference, San Francisco, October 2, 2018 -- Wrike, the collaborative work management platform for high-performance teams, is helping to unify the entire marketing department, including creative teams, and make complex integrated marketing campaigns possible with the new version of Wrike for Marketers. The company announced today at the Wrike Collaborate conference that Wrike for Marketers will include a guest review capability, enhanced proofing and approvals with Wrike Proof, and a Digital Asset Management (DAM) integration, Wrike Publish, which allows digital assets to be moved to and from either MediaValet or Bynder from within Wrike. The company also announced Wrike Resource, a new resource management tool, enabling Marketing Departments to meticulously manage and control team members’ workloads.
“Digital transformation has fundamentally changed how work gets done today,” said 451 Research Director Chris Marsh. “This is especially prevalent in marketing departments, which rely on such a wide variety of tools, leverage numerous external vendors, and often have to answer to multiple stakeholders. It makes sense for work management platforms to meet the unique needs of marketing and creative teams in order that they can specifically tailor their work execution, and so Marketing leaders can bring more strategic value to the table."
The integrations with MediaValet and Bynder mark the first two DAM platforms that Wrike will partner with to help marketing teams save time, protect brand identity, and maximize impact. With Wrike Publish, users will have the ability to publish approved assets directly from Wrike, quickly find assets from within Wrike, and build new assets and campaigns with the right content.
“We share Wrike’s view that digital asset management is critical to a brand’s success,” said MediaValet CEO David MacLaren. “Marketing and creative teams need to be able to quickly store, backup and access assets throughout their full life cycle in order to maximize their impact and value. We're excited to partner with Wrike to provide marketing and creative teams with a seamless experience when creating content, publishing assets, and building campaigns.”
The new guest review feature overcomes the challenge of working with multiple stakeholders for in-house marketers and creatives, as well as creative agencies. Guest review allows clients and executives to securely participate in the review process of digital assets within Wrike Proof without a Wrike account. This streamlines the review cycle and greatly reduces the time it takes to move from project intake to final product and campaign launch while adding more transparency to the process. Working within Wrike Proof has also been improved with an intuitive, clean interface that allows floating comments that are associated with specific markups for an enhanced user experience.
“We have more tools now for communicating than ever before - yet it is becoming increasingly difficult to coordinate a unified effort not only within a department, but across the enterprise, agencies, and clients,” said Wrike CEO Andrew Filev. “Marketing, above all other departments, must be able to effectively collaborate across teams, agencies, channels, and tools to execute on the complex integrated campaigns that are required to remain competitive today. It was important that we deliver a tailored solution that cuts through the chaos, saves money, and improves overall operations, which is why we continue to put considerable resources toward making Wrike for Marketers the gold standard for collaborative work management within marketing.”
Wrike for Marketers was originally launched in July 2016 with tailored workspaces; a proofing and approvals tool for images, videos, and Portable Document Format (PDF); and an extension for Adobe Creative Cloud. Since then Wrike has continuously updated the solution with new features, tools, and enhancements, including:
- Calendars - Deliver a unifying, real-time window across your organization that is ideal for integrated marketing campaigns, event planning, and product roadmaps;
- Tailored onboarding and pre-built templates - Enable teams to experience immediate value with out of the box templates for common marketing and creative projects;
- Project File View and Dashboard Widget - Provide a visual conduit for visual work, consolidating files across folders and projects into a single pane for efficient reviews by creative directors, brand managers, and marketing leadership;
- Proofing and approvals with Microsoft® Office support - Allows for faster review cycles and greater transparency into documents and presentations;
- Proofing and approvals in Wrike’s extension for Adobe® Creative Cloud® - Keeps creatives in the tool they love by accessing Wrike within Adobe.
Wrike for Marketers with the guest review feature, Wrike Proof, and Wrike Publish will be available in Q4 2018.
